OLY.B
Biography
OLY.B is a Miami-based contemporary artist working with portraiture as a way of thinking about time, memory, and human presence.
She began with oil and acrylic painting, developing the collection Inspired by Life, where the focus was on the emotional power of the human image. These early works shaped her interest in the silent dialogue between the viewer and the portrayed figure.
Over the years, her practice expanded into a hybrid approach that merges painting-based thinking with digital construction and physical intervention on the surface. This evolution led to her ongoing project Breaking Time, in which cultural icons serve as symbols of continuity — lives that continue to resonate beyond the limits of their own time.
OLY.B’s work is regularly presented at exhibitions and art fairs and is held in private collections across the United States and Europe. Through her evolving series, OLY.B investigates how identity is transformed into image, and how certain figures remain present in our collective imagination. Through her series “Breaking Time,” OLY.B not only explores the intersection of technology and traditional art but also invites contemplation on the themes of legacy, memory, and the relentless march of time, capturing the essence of these late celebrities in a manner that resonates with the contemporary audience while paying homage to their lasting influence.
