Art Advisor - Annecy

The Bel-Air Fine Art group of contemporary art galleries is looking for its new art advisor in Annecy! 

RESPONSABILITIES

• Welcome gallery visitors and develop customer loyalty on a daily basis
• Promote Bel-Air Fine Art reputation and image through your daily conversations with clients, artists and service providers, but also through your own personal presentation : you will be spreading Bel-Air Fine Art brand values to customers and prospects.
• Assist gallery visitors in their discovery of our business and artists, applying Bel-Air Fine Art's sales methods to gain new customers and generate revenue.
• Be responsible for the financial, logistical and administrative follow-up of all your deals - control your sales
• Provide regular and accurate reporting to your hierarchy : debrief ongoing leads, analyse your progress with your manager
• Be available and involved in the events of your gallery and of the group : off-site exhibitions, fairs and shows.

PERSONALITY 

• You have a neat and presentable appearance, you are organized, proactive and you have a strong team spirit
• You are comfortable with different types of personalities including a very demanding upscale clientele - You know how to make yourself available for your customers. 
• Your commercial strength and your motivation will make a difference in achieving your gallery’s sales objectives

PROFILE

• With a Bachelor's degree in business, you already have a professional experience in sales (at least one commercial experience already)
• Excellent level of English and German (spoken and written) and a good knowledge of a third language will be a plus. 
• Expertise in art will be a great advantage for this position.
• Flexible, you are willing to travel occasionally in Europe for exhibitions, art fairs, or long-term missions according to your results

SALARY & PERSPECTIVES

Fixed salary + attractive commissions on your personal sales performance. The group offers to the most successful art advisors an evolution within 3 years towards managing an international art gallery, as well as a team of art advisors.
